“Hi, My Name is Mr. Potato Head and I am a Drug Addict!”

“Hi, this is my first meeting. My name is Mr. Potato Head and I have been baked today – twice to be exact.”

Wow! I took the long way to get around to that one. I have been trying to think of something to title and start this post with and this is what I came up with. Deal with it. They all can’t be winners. Some are duds and so suck it up, princess. Speaking of meetings, I think I may need to attend one myself soon. If there is a FBA (Food Bloggers Anonymous) meeting nearby then I should poke my head in. I am beginning to become concerned that all my posts are related to food and that my inner Martha Stewart is coming out, without her prison rep of course. I would be her bitch in the big house if it all comes down to time in I guess, but I’m not sure if it is purely a matter of seniority. Hopefully I would be given a chance to prove that I am as hard as Martha – it only seems fair.

On to today’s cooking adventure, this one ended up turning pretty well, if I do say so myself (which I just did). I decided to try my hand at some twice-baked potatoes to go with the pork chops for dinner. I have heard that they are a pain in the ass to do, but I found them quite easy and fun actually. Bake some potatoes, scoop ‘em, mash ‘em, add some yumminess and then bake em again. There, you’re done. Suck it up, princess. They were so good and will definitely be a repeat in our house, hopefully to go with some char-grilled meat once the BBQ arrives. It didn’t arrive today as I was anticipating, but the weather is going to be rainy for the next few days and so there is no rush. Here are some before and after photos to drool over…
