Licence to grill!
Hmmmm, that title was a little weak but I just couldn’t come up with anything better. Nevertheless, I just need to do a quick update to my last post. I was checking the same sites for the BBQ today and they all went up in price by more than 10% to £90. I was still able to find one for the £80 I saw earlier, with free delivery, and so we went ahead and ordered it tonight, along with some accessories. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow, but it should be here by Tuesday at the latest – yeaaa for next-day delivery! I plan to be firing it up and cooking some burgers next weekend before Cindy goes gluten-free again. Here’s hoping the weather continues as it has so that I can be searing some animal flesh in comfort. The next step is to find a humorous (and potentially sexist and/or offensive) apron to wear while doing my manly grilling.
Update: My grill arrived this morning! Not bad considering I ordered it online Sunday night and it was here first thing Wednesday morning. Here are some pics of the hotness, along with the accessories I ordered with it. It is supposed to be 8 degrees and sunny on Friday and so I plan to be doing some homemade burgers.
